Until July 2009, I was employed as Vice President Sales and Marketing by Omaka Springs Estates, a family owned winery in Marlborough, NZ. Over my years in this job I noticed that a lot of small to medium wineries were struggling to find effective ways to bring their product to market as typically the focus was on making great wines… However, great wines that aren’t being recognized, sold and consumed may as well not exist…

So after chatting a few winemaker and winery owner friends of mine for whom I have done some consulting, I thought it may be helpful to share the knowledge I accrued over the past few years in a blog.
